L-Shaped Peninsula

I've read the code regarding receptacle placement in peninsulas, but I am unclear of how this applies to an L-shaped peninsula. My peninsula comes out at a 90 degree angle from the counter, runs 3 ft, has a sink break, runs another 4 ft and then makes a 90 degree turn. This turn is 5 ft long. (A u-shape with a counter on one side). I know I need to put a receptacle in the 3 ft run, and the 4ft run - but what about the 5 ft side? Is the turn considered a break? Or does the turn not count as a break, so I only need the one receptacle for the 9ft (4ft+ 5ft)side ?

The two words that seems to be over looked in 210.52 (C) (2) and (3) are "each space".
If you have two separate spaces (12" each or larger), each has to have a receptacle.

I'd say one on each side of the sink is what you need. I don't see how you would consider the counter turning to be a "break" in the counter.

210.52(C)(4) makes it pretty clear that separate spaces are separated by "rangetops, refrigerators or sinks."

A turn in the countertop is not a separate space. You need two receptacles, total, minimum. ;)
