I am new to the forum. And new to AC drives. The L510 is pretty straightforward with initial setup and being able to Start/Stop or Potentiometer configuration. I have not found that many threads on AC Drives or VFDs even from the manufacturer. I work in a canning facility that has not updated. The original AC drive was a Safetronics P3 Inverter. I am wondering will I be able to substitute the L510 for the Safetronics P3 Inverter. Or should I just do a direct replacement and then figure out the programming of it. It was originally installed in 1995 and I am translating the blueprints for the way it is set up now. I will upload a pic when I get it translated or darkened.

My question: Installing Relays/Buzzer(E-Stop) on a cooker with E-Stop mechanism triggers in place.

Unless you have some unusual requirements, just about any VFD will likely work.

I agree with post #2 - get the manual first and read it to make sure it will do what you need.
