Has anyone ever approached a company that is going to hire but isn't taking applications yet? There is a distillery coming too town (rehabing and existing distilery that hasn't been used in 20 years) thats going too hire 30 - 50 people and I would like too get in early or at least get my resume in without being annoying. Any good ideas?

Nothing wrong with having some inside information, but many have a filing date, "applications will be taken from this date to that date, applicants will be notified by mail as to interview date."

City's aren't imune either, we have to take 53 furlough hours this year. They would like us to take as many as we can before December which is mid year to see how the budget is looking.
