That is one option.

You never told us exactly what you have for existing, though it appears it possibly is meter - then 2-200 amp service panels.

Underground service to 400A meter base, then inside to (2) 200A panels. Will be a pain too because the (2) panels are 90° to the meter. Meaning they are in a side wall that divides the garage from a bedroom and meter is on outside wall. Will have to remove some drywall to drill through the studs to get outside.

Every job has it's challenges.

So do you have extra 150 amps available (or at least 126 to 150 since next lower breaker would be 125) in the 200 amp panel you are planning to feed this from? Not saying you don't or that you actually need 150, but I think one reason you seldom see those 150-200 amp breakers like you are looking for is they are seldom needed. If you had a 400 or 600 amp panel you were feeding from that would be a little different - you do see them there, well at least in the QO series you sometimes do can't say I've ever seen a 400 amp Homeline and maybe there aren't any.

Well I have spaces left!:)

I haven't done a load calculation yet, but from the loads I saw I believe there would be room. Seems they have mostly 240V loads in one of the panels and only a couple 240V loads in the other. I had planned on feeding from the one with the single pole loads.

Since I'm only bidding the job I probably won't do a load calc. unless I get the job.
