They only have to be confident you don't have a jack and receptacle right where you want the tv hung. Everything else is extra other than lifting the TV up and hanging it on the wall. The bracket is the first upsell from 49.95 to 229.95 They supply the cheapest bracket known to mankind and will screw it to studs as long as they are properly spaced. A better bracket is an upsell. Any cabling is an up sell. They never said the would do anything but hang the TV.
