Can you daisy chain mc cable for connection of lay in flourecence lights in an office building ceiling? Do these fixtures have to have the disconnect in them? Is the maximum lenghth 6' for the mc cable to a j-box?

Yes a disconnect is required in commercial buildings.
It's 6 ft maximum unsupported on your whips.

Yes you can daisy chain the light wipes if you support them over six foot in length.

Yes, the manufacture supplies in most cases (new installs) the little disconnects, if not you'll need to install this device if you move the equipment.
