Laying out a job

Some one in an earlier thread pointed out that you should have a working knowlege of the other crafts. I agree. But even more important on a big job sight is to know the foreman of these other crafts and be able to communicate with them on a first name basis. The plumbers, the masons, the carpenters, the iron workers can all make your life easier or more miserable. Its important to touch base with these guys every day and maintain communications. It usually doesn't require long meetings in a conference room. Just chatting for a couple of minutes in the morning and asking these guys if there is anything you need to be aware of can make all the difference in the world.:smile:

so can buying them coffee once in a while
