LB Connector Question...

I am ready to run power to an outbuilding through a 1 1/4" PVC LB connector outside, to the service panel inside. I'm contemplating running the wire through the LB, directly into the backside of the service panel.

The Problem: Finding a fitting, connecting the conduit through the wall, which will not protrude deeply into the service panel.

Q1: Does the fitting attached to the conduit inside the panel need to be secured with a lock ring?

Q2: Is there a standard/better way to mount an LB connector to the wall either above, below or into the service panel?

Many thanks in advance,

Re: LB Connector Question...

Use a box connector Carlon makes them in all sizes

Re: LB Connector Question...

Carlon also makes a PVC chase nipple that goes right into the PVC LB from inside the panel when the panel is flush mount and the back of the panel is close to the outside of the wall.

Carlon part # is E996
