LCD Television in Hot Tub

I researched this topic before posting and found the TV in a tub thread, but this is a little different. This is for a client to whom money is no object. I only mention this, because if the solution requires building an occupancy separation to gain an approval, this can likely be arranged. I am researching this topic for my manager whom came to me with this challenge and thought this forum might be a good place to start our inquiry.

LCD TV IN A HOT TUB
-------------------------
First...The TV is designed/rated for All-Weather Outdoor use, but will require a receptacle to be installed at a distance which violates the minimum specified by NEC for pools/spas. However, to comply with the code, the customer would like to build a 6'-0" high and 12" deep CMU/concrete wall at the edge of his spa, create an opening to recess the TV, and install tempered glass and wall covering to seperate the spa from the (a) TV and (b) receptacle. The TV will have access only from the side of the "wall" opposite the spa/hot-tub, which will require exiting the spa and walking a significant distance to reach on the "other-side of the wall". I am sure there will be other challenges, such as heating the glass to prevent condensation, but we are only researching the solution to the code problem. Any ideas on this? I guess I should just go ask the AHJ? I'm sure this is open to interpretation of code, but perhaps you could guide me in the right direction if you have seen anything like this before?

To answer your question you should read art. 680.22(A)(6). I would guess you already have. I believe that the installation that you suggested would be permitted by the NEC. I don't believe that glass barrier would be necessary although it may be advised.

Thanks for the responses. I think I'll take it up with the AHJ. We've suggested solutions like those that were recommended here. Longer cords and a larger TVs, unfortunately were not the answer. I appreciate the use of this forum as a resource and hope to be able to contribute someday. Thanks again.
