It’s called “conformal coating” and it’s not epoxy, it’s a flexible clear coat, usually a product called “Humiseal”. There was another better product out there for years, but if you wanted to remove it, you spayed it with CFCs. That became a problem and that was eliminated about 10 years ago.Danfoss offered believe they said it was epoxy coated boards at a slightly higher price but believe boards on larger drives have some sort of a clear costing over both sides of boards.
