The only thing I would like to say for a last statement, is that male pride, selfishness, and the hunger for more money, is at the heart of our Nations problems.

This great nation has produced many fine philosophers but not many better than Tom T. Hall and his song "Faster Horses".

Just listen to the lyrics and you will learn what life is all about, " It's faster horses, younger women, older whiskey and more money".

All of this male pride bashing was started by a bunch of feminist that didn't like the lyrics.

Once you learn life's meaning it's much easier to control your emotions and life gets a lot more simple and fun.

I would be very happy if it just topped out at a 100 or so.

High enough to tell the newbies from the others.

Agreed. Just because someone has a lot to say, does not automatically mean they are nice, smart or in general just better than another forum member that has fewer posts.

I belong to a few other forums and the one thing across all forums that I see are post count 'issues'

Now I was speaking generally - none of you guys take offence to this! :D

Mule IMO I find your post a cry for help or attention. Part of me wants to say your seeking help and attention, the other half (tough love guy) says don't let the door hit on the butt on your way out.

Well no sense sitting this one out. We all seem to have stong opions and are set in our ways.

Ground hole up or down, stranded wire pigtails, corded or batteries etc. etc. it's mostly opinions and we've all heard that joke.

As most who've been following the "infamous thread" know I'm with you 100% but on the next issue, I may flip. I guess I've made a few people mad with my opinions and a few have ruffled my tail feathers too, but honestly I can't even remember who they are.

I'm bi-partisan I go with the issues, here and in my private life.

On this Forum I find friends with common interest and speak of it all the time in my private life. No one is listed as my friend and I don't even know how it's done, but I would call everyone on here my friend, just the same.

Mule, please reconsider, life is too short to loose even one friend.

Cheers...............and don't worry, the door won't hit me in the butt...

Don't let the door hit you in the butt. ;)

All kidding aside, leaving the forum is really bad idea for so many reasons. I can't even begin to summarize how much I've learned in the past 6? 7? years I've been participating here (including under the old format). Not just electrical matters, but business too....quite frankly I'm far more interested in the business end of things and the lessons I've learned here are worth their weight in gold and them some.

So you can take the FREE priceless information available here, or you can be a stubborn mule...to me the choice is obvious. :)

Good Luck Mule

Good Luck Mule

Know exactly what you?re saying.

You got tired of the condescending attitudes from the "know it alls" who can't grasp the possibility that anyone could do anything other their way.

Some of them can not read what is actually written, but instead read what they want to see.
Don?t you wish there was a place where attitudes were checked at the door, and business owners were the only ones permitted to participate in business discussions, rather than a bunch of wannabee?s who are too scared to make the leap, but think they should tell you how to run a business.

Good luck, because they are like trolls running from site to site with the same ole? ?I?m smarter than you rhetoric"

Mule, run your business how you see fit, and enjoy life. There is more to life than money.

Without a doubt, best thread EVER!

And before it falls to a lower quality (like a sports hero staying around to long) let's retire it while it's on top.

Mule, I hope you reconsider.
