I have announced my resignation effective May 29th, so I will no longer be under the employ of the Town and Village. I wish to thank everyone for their helpful insight and support while I've been in the position of a municipal inspector. Again, many thanks to all of you. Best wishes. :smile: :smile: :smile:

Like Roger said, no reason to leave the forums just because you won't be working for the city. I value everyones input here. I have learned more from this site than taking CEU classes for my license.

Well its the first I've seen, annoucing your leaving, well gezz just thrown that out there ... I know of in-activity, I know of being busy,
I know of alot of things.. I can only think its a freud statement in the title, what are you saying! :grin:

I don't know if this is a retirement or resignation, but you never retire from, you retire to.

I'll never tell. :smile: No, actually I am resigning as building/electrical official of a town and village in northern New York and going back into the business of being a full-time private third-party electrical inspector. There's very little $$$$$ in governmental inspection work......:mad:

I am also on this forum as another name, so I'm only leaving my capacity as a municipal inspector. But, it was a neat capacity/perspective to be on for this forum, and I will miss that role here.

So you'll just have to guess who I am in the private world....:wink:

1 "correct" electrical answer (answered by my Mike Holt alter ego) to one electrical question provided that the question is incredibly simple in nature and content.

This is my last post on this site as lpelectric, so what ever the question might be will have to be answered by others....one of which will be me in my other perspective. ;)
