LED Flashlight

I have been a flashlight freak for years, I too use the Surefire. I used to use the E1 Incandescent before the LEDs came out, now I carry the LED, never have to worry about relamping. Surefire sells the batteries by the case (12) for $2.50 ea, I go thru 1 or 2 batteries a week. Any need for extended lighting I get out the corded drop light.
The Surefire is so small I carry it every day in my pocket, even nights and weekends! Don't know how I ever lived without it, along with my Swiss army knife and my iPod!

QFT!! I never leave home without my Streamlight..

I bought the 72 battery box from Surefire, over a years worth. Best deal ever...

I have an LED flashlight I bought at Lowes for 50 bucks. he three AAA batteries it uses last a long long time and it is incredibly bright.

For temp lighting I use Wobble lights.

I purchased led upgrade kit for my mag lite and use this lite when I need temp lite..

"Why go to all that trouble? Just get one of those 20 million candlepower rechargables and duct-tape to your head. (I just duct-tape it to my hard hat for convenience, but that's just me.)
No cords, no electricity needed. Ahh, life is good..."

With all those writers out of work now, are we filling in the gap? I try to do my part . . .

Best Wishes

After 19 years of bliss, its tough to buy the Bride anything for Christmas
I offer up tool suggestions, so thanks ...

Kliens finally put out a nice package of small device screw drivers, lol....

My helper has that exact flashlight it works great... I'm sold on LED lamps, but no one has stolen my Mag light lately, shoot...

I bought a small Mag 3-AA with LED in it. Great. I believe you can retrofit your ordinary MAG with an LED "bulb".

I have a Surefire and I love it, but it does eat up batteries. I also just bought a LED retrofit bulb for my Maglite, a little spendy and you get that bluish light, but it works really well and hopefully I won't go through bulbs as fast.

I use this magcharger. Have a charger in the truck. About 3 or 4 hours of bright light. Just put it in the charger and it is ready the next time.

Since this post started, my Streamlight LED Scorpion .... the bed, the tailswitch went bad from repeated saliva soakings from being chewed on while working with both hands. I picked this up instead...... not the light I originally posted, but I like it better.

Nice light, just as bright if not brighter than the Scorpion, and it is all aluminum, so no more chewing through the rubber jacket and exposing the tail switch to my spit. Yippee!
