LED lights that flicker when you turn the dimmer on high

This is driving me nuts, it happens on every other job I do lately. I just installed 3 - 4" wafer LED's and they flicker / strobe on the highest setting. I guess I will try a new dimmer. Does anyone have an answer to this? I can be the only one this is happening to. They are on with another 6" LED can if that makes a difference

I don't have any direct experience with that problem. But you might want to try the Legrand "Tru-Universal" dimmer RH703PTU if you can get a hold of it. It's capable of both forward and reverse phase dimming, and so if one causes problems you can try the other.

Some dimmers have a high end trim. You could try adjusting that if there is one.

I haven't had any problems using Lutron dimmers. I make sure that they are listed for LED's.
