LED POWER SUPPLIES - anything special - or just DC power supplies ?

I'm using a GE LED power supply 24VDC for both an LED lighting fixture - and in a parallel connection run an piece of electronic equipment that requires 12-40VDC that powers an small instrument motor.


Is there anything special about the LED power supplies - or are they just 24VDC - switching power supplies ?

LED power supplies will just be normal power supplies, decently filtered and possibly Class 2 listed.
LED drivers, OTOH, will incorporate current limiting for a particular load rather than being a constant voltage supply.
