Leg to leg connection on multi volt LED light fixtures?

I recall someone mentioning concerns with some equipment when 2 hot legs are used rather than 1 leg and 1 N? Basically the potential between L2 and G which some devices are designed for that to be at the same potential?

I’m assuming you are talking about using 208 instead of 277 or the like? Never had a problem. As long as the voltage is in range.

It's not a concern. The white wire does not have to be connected to a grounded conductor.
