Once you deviate from a sine wave, then you have harmonic content.

A steady state waveform can be viewed or studied from either its harmonic content or from its waveform.

Or predict mathematically what the waveform will be and calculate from that what the fundamental and harmonic content will be.

I got it many years ago as hard copy. Scanning and saving to a hard drive then was not an option then. I suppose I can now. But it's a lot of pages. I will have a dig around for it but no promises.
