Just got a call from an HO. Somebody called the city on him and his above ground pool purchased at Toys R' Us (no doubt some inflatable contraption). AHJ came and flagged the pool power ~ extension cord run back to house. HO wants to know "How much?' I say anywhere between $200 and $5000 (ok, the 5k part was actually a joke :)

Thanks for playing "The Price is Too High" :D

Re: Let's see what happens...

Just a quick thought on trenching in case you don't do a lot of this. You can run into many unforeseen problems while trenching, ie rocks, old pipes, etc. This is why I ALWAYS tell a customer that they can either trench it themselves to NEC specs, or I will do it and it is automatic T&M on the trenching.

Re: Let's see what happens...

Digging a hole/trench is always fun  last week while putting a sump pit in (for Dear old Mom and Dad) I got down about 18" and discovered a boulder...LOL (now that is...then it was @#*!?) I took out 18" of boulder to get my 36".

I digress...

The one that gets closet to the actual cost will win (what exactly, I don't know - but I do know Ed Mcman is not available to present you with your winnings)

Re: Let's see what happens...

One time I had a crew digging a ditch for me, they ran into a granite rock the size of a VW. they tried to jackhammer it, after a half a day, they dug around it. You just never know whats in the ground. If its there a backhoe will find it.

I'm running my numbers now..anyone else wanna play?

Here are the job details:
POS Toys R Us pool setup in back yard that looks like a jungle...a weed wacker and a hedge trimmer might help keep some of the species of bugs I have never seen before away.

:)
[/b][/quote]The 20/20 will be a Square D QO...LMAO.

As a bonus - not for the faint of heart - you could also try and repair a GFCI mounted on house that is NFG. I love GFCI repair jobs :D

Basement ceiling is 100% sheetrocked.

Without even lifting a pencil, I'm thinking 3 0's. LOL
