How many POCO's have you dealt with that use Instantaneous elements for service-protection???

not sure what it is protecting
line, zero seq Z element, generator, transformer
but the manual and sales brochure list it as instantaneous only

Once again "Apples and Oranges"! The Op introduced GE's IAC-series. It is with a TD-element, but w/o the Instantaneous element(s)! The relay you submitted is a relay with instantaneous elements but w/o the TD-element!

I suspect you don't really know the difference!

Phil,
He is talking about the PJC relay not IAC relay which is instantaneous with no time delay...

no need for mud
he introduced both on the schedule
that is what he was asking about the pjc used for the gf
it is listed on the schedule as a toc, it is not, it is instant oc
that is what caused the confusion

we already cleared up the iac questions
