How do you guys wire Leviton CO /ALR 15amp switches with aluminum wire. They provide a little strip gauge and a slot to insert in.(on the outside of the side terminal) No back stabs. However, online it says to loop them. In my opinion with this slot on the outside that would be a major pain. But also says quickwire via quick connect or side terminals. Wiring straight with no loop seems tight however it is very little surface area to grab. I called Leviton today and technical support did not answer after 45 mins. What do you guys do?

If you're talking about screw-tightened clamps like GFCI receptacles have, they're plenty secure.

This is what I have

Pretty sure leviton just hit copy and paste from a standard switch on that info sheet. The 40 cent switches can take copper and clad. Why would you buy a $4.50 switch stamped AL if it is not approved
