I have a PVC conduit coming out of building for HVAC equipment, It has LB at top with a drop straight down the wall to disconnect height. Is it ok to use a PVC female adaptor and LFMC looped into bottom of disconnect ? I am not a fan of LFNC

I would think so. I have used the LFNC you don't like with PVC by using a simple PVC coupling.

I never use the grey PVC glue. I always go to plumbing and get the heavy duty PVC cement.

We aren't allowed to use a PVC coupling to connect to LNMC here. It's also against code as far as the listing. We have to use a FA and LFNC connector.
But I may know someone who has used a coupling when there was no inspection.

What is the issue with NMLT flex? Most of it is pretty tough, if you have a "low spot" it doesn't rust out when it fills up with condensation.

I've seen more trouble with broken fittings than with the raceway itself. Better or proper securing and supporting sometimes are the key to improving that.

Gluing it into regular PVC fittings - aside from code/listing is effective sometimes, other times not. Good securing/supporting is necessary if you do so and want it to last.
