LFNC thru Metal siding panels

Can LFNC (or LFMC for that matter) run thru wall from interior to exterior? Situation is this; in chicken house with 48" tunnel ventilation fan in wall, my guys ran LFNC from the disconnect thru the corrugated steel siding panel to the motor outside. I was pretty sure LFNC either cannot run thru wall from inside to outside or shouldn't be run thru the metal siding panel but went to my trusty codebook and couldn't back up my opinion.
What say you? Is the sharp edge of the metal siding panel creating a risk of physical damage 350.12 (1)

Not unless they cut it to the exact dimension of flex and rammed it in. Little larger with caulking of some sort would be fine

haha, had a brain fart, I was thinking of previous conversation with some guys where someone ran SOOW cord thru the wall, not LFMC
