license in Texas

I am relocating to the Dallas Texas area soon. I don't have a state license for Texas just a masters license for the state of WV. Is there any way to get employed as a electrician without that license. I tried to call the state to ask question but the number is always busy. Can anyone recommend a company in the Dallas area or Fort Worth? I am looking to be in the Industrial side.

You might try Bell Helicopter in Fort Worth, Texas or Vioght in Gran Prairie, Texas. Used to live in the area and always heard they were looking for Electricians. As far as I know you have to have your Texas License.
