Light/Fan Mounting Restrictions Q

There is no means to run the wire into the canopy that is pictured except thru the small nipple. IMO, there needs to be a jb behind this bracket. How would you run the conduit or whatever into that bracket?

in that fan base, in center, there is a 1/2"npt to 1/2" compression EMT fitting, the EMT runs into the compression side (top side) of the fitting. the EMT never touches the mounting H bracket, etc.
