Light fixture mounting

Is there a code that says that you need a 8/32 screw minimum size for mounting fixture, 50 pound rated box?

Not exactly worded that way but, read 314.27(A)(1) and (2), the listing is the key.

UL 514A for metallic outlet boxes and UL 514C for nonmetallic outlet boxes both require a minimum of 2 8-32 for supporting a ceiling mounted luminaire of up to 50 pounds.
