I read some old posts about this, but would like some clarification.
The design of a bathroom has made it practically impossible to have the switches that operate the overhead lights located anywhere other than near the whirlpool tub. The bath has a separate shower and thus the tub will not be a continous use item if that matters.
To give a little clarification, the switch box needs to go to the left side of the door opening b/c the door is a pocket door that recesses back to the right. Unfortunately the area where the switches are is the same area where the whirlpool is located. It is a deck mounted tub.
In addition to this the design calls for a small hanging light fixture over the whirlpool. What additional issues might this bring up?
Thank you in advance for your replies!
