Does 210.70 (C) apply to air handler located above bathroom shower or laundry room with no attic space or walkable space? I’d think so since it mentions “contain equipment requiring servicing” I’d just like to make sure. Thanks in advance

Oh yes, there will be an access panel, the space I’d say is about 3 ft tall, enough space for an air handler for a townhome

Yes, it’s in the ceiling of the middle floor

I would install a box for the lighting outlet instead of spending much time worrying about it. Then blank off the box. 210.70 only requires the lighting outlet, it does not require a fixture.
