Curious as to how you guys would approach this. Strictly alighting replacement job. No E drawings showing circuits just arch RCP’s whichcall to remove and replace. Job has six phases, each has to be done andcomplete over the weekend. My concern is there could be same circuits feedingdifferent phases which have to be kept “live and lit” so modifications to thecircuits more than likely will be necessary. Agree? Thanks

If done on the week end and you are the only ones in the building, who cares?

Just plan on some portable light stands.

Put in your bid no circuit changes.

More than likely you will have to spend some labor and material keeping those other lights on. Since no one has given you that info you might want to write a 'Time and Material' clause in your quote for the extras.

It really depends how the existing lighting is switched. If you can simply turn off the switch in a particular area or room you can remove the old and install the new. Then turn the switch back on.

Energy Code?

Energy Code?

In our area (Texas) we are required to update the switching requirements (IECC / Daylight Reqmts) and meet the latest energy code if more than 10% of the fixtures are replaced. Is this not an issue there?
