I have seen the results of a lightning stick on a cement cornice of a building. Chunks of cement from the size of peas, golf and softballs littered the ground.
And no, before any one asks I did not see it happen, I was there the next day replacing fried fire alarm system boards and there had been a bad storm the night before, now it might have all been coincidences but I don't believe so.
FWIW if you take a cutting touch and put it to cement you can large sections to pop out at you with great speed from the rapid expansion in that one spot. Now I am no lightning expert but I think it is kind of hot ......
