I’m trying to get some advice on a request from my employer to install lights within two shower stalls with a slanted ceiling 88” inches at highest point and 77” inches from floor at lowest point. Standard 120v lighting 1 phase 15 ampere circuit

The walls are surrounded with sheet metal

I haven’t get checked the NEC code book for lighting in a place like this but I assume there are height requirements for lighting directly above showers, GFCI protection for branch circuit, wet listed supplies, etc

If I bring a GFCI into a 2 gang box and then power the lighting on the load side of the GFCI will this suffice

Then I must also figure out the proper wet listed wiring method for the branch circuits while transferring from romex nm cable in the hall ceiling to the shower stalls “wet location” perhaps liquid tight?

The area above the ceiling is a dry location so any wiring method can be used for the lighting. There is no minimum height or GFCI requirement. I would use a wafer light which is rated for wet locations with NM cable above the ceiling.

Is it proper to feed the lights on the load side of GFCI from a branch circuit with other lights instead of making a whole new circuit from a GFCI breaker?

Check the manufacturer's installation instructions - some require GFCI protection in this location. Also not a bad idea to have it

I’m also going to bond sheet metal surrounding walls at round box. I do not know what box or light will be used so I don’t have manufacture instructions. I am putting in branch circuit for now

One issue with a slanted ceiling is condensation running down the slant towards the lights. Hot shower + cold ceiling...
