Article 705.12(A) allows for an interconnected electric power source on the line side of the main disconnect as permitted in 230.82(6), if the power source consisted of 4 utility interactive solar inverters would it be permissable under 705.12(A) to connect the A/C output of each inverter to a panelboard with 4 branch ckt breakers, and then feed the panelboard from a line side tap at the mainservice disconnect?

That is a common practice in the industry. There is some debate as to how or if the 120% rule applies, but I know that many ASHJ's approve installations of that type.
There may be some discussion about whether there needs to be a single identified disconnect point, such as a main breaker on the sub panel in this case, or whether the spirit of the six handle rule will apply. The tap conductors have to be protected, either by a main or by the sum of the branch breakers.

In this case our panelboard will be 200 feet away from the main disconnect
The you should probably install a disconnect at the service entrance and feed the panelboard from that.

If you have a smart/demanding AHJ,
and you have fuses or a breaker in the new service disco,
then you will need to size feeder conductors from the new disco to the pv brkrs for SUM of all power sources feeding it.
4 PV brkr.s PLUS any OCPD you have in the new disco........as silly as it may seem.
