line voltage contactor inside of a time clock

can you please referance a code section that addresses the fact that if a contactor is connected inside of a time clock that it must be prorerly mounted and secured. i found artical 110.3 B, are there other articales that classifies this as a voilation?

It only takes one, and that one is right on target, IMO.

That would probably be in NFPA 70B and not the NEC.

I think that you could also get several articles from 250. Since the contactor is not mounted to anything, the frame wouldn't be grounded creating a potential hazard.
