Can LFMC be used for connection at a 5KV motor?
430.223 permits this but I cannot find a listing for LFMC above 600 volts.
Does it have to be listed for use at this voltage?
This is a 600HP motor in a Class 1, Div 2 location.
 
Following is an excerpt from the U.L. White Book on listed equipment:

FLEXIBLE CONDUIT, LIQUID-TIGHT (DWWY)
Flexible Metal Conduit Assemblies, Liquid-tight
(DXAS)
USE AND INSTALLATION
This category covers liquid-tight flexible metal conduit, in trade sizes 3/8
to 4 (metric designators 16 to 103) inclusive, for installation in accordance
with Article 350 of ANSI/NFPA 70, ‘‘National Electrical Code’’ (NEC), for
conductors in circuits of 600 V, nominal, or less. This product may also be
used for installation of conductors in motor circuits, and for electric signs
and outline lighting in accordance with the NEC.

The U.L. listing appears to be for 600v or less.
I guess you'll have to find another product. This one is not listed for over 600v circuits. I do not know of a product that is, in fact.
