I understand, I am not allowed to remove the lock nut from a LFMC connector and thread the connector into a NPT hub.
If I used one that has machined threads and is
Type; Enclosure Type Class I Div 2; Application Commercial and Industrial; Applicable Standard Nec/Cec, NEMA FB-1; ST Model
Does this make a difference? Is there a place I can look up each type of fitting for the listed use.

As far as I know, there are no LFMC connectors that have been evaluated for that use. There is not even anything in the product listing standard that specifies how they could be evaluated for that purpose.

That being said well over 95% of the LFMC connectors that I have installed or have been installed by electricians working for me have been threaded into fittings having female threads.

This is not a real world issue...just a product evaluation issue.

I agree and will also add the connector comes with a gasket, so without looking at product evaluation standards seems to make sense it would still seal if it threads in far enough to pinch the gasket.

Those that are adamant about this technicality don't want to know how many times I have, in outdoor installations, converted EMT to a rigid coupling to a LT flex connector. And when I have done so I have more concern on how much water ends up inside via condensation vs leakage.
