Load calculation & wire size

With a load calculation do you have to size the service wires at 125% of the calculated load?
It appears the answer is no, looking through old threads and from the example #D1 in the back of the Chicago code book. Though #D2 I don't understand.

Not sure what the chicago book has as their examples but if it is like the NEC that is service calculations and 125% is not added to the final calculation

Is that supposed to say "is not added to the final calculation"
Meaning that you don't multiply by 125%?
