I'm looking at installing a subpanel for a kitchen renovation. For simplicity I'll probably just install a 100 amp sub-panel but if I wanted to calculate the actual load is there an online load calculator available to figure this out?

It's no different than any load calc, other than service load diversity for the feeder.
When I looked at some online calculators they're all seemingly geared towards service calculations. These are the approximate loads:

Wall oven=10.2 kw

Built in microwave=1600 watts

2-Dishwashers=1440 watts each

Garbage Disposal=1200 watts

Refrigerator=850 watts

Exhaust Hood= 600 watts

4-Small Appliance Receptacle Branch Ciruits

Gas cooktop on an SABC?

Seems like the answer is just 4 SABCs * 1500 VA (220.52) + cooking appliances above 1750VA per 220.55 + 0.75 * appliances (220.53)

I.e. 4*1500 + 0.75 * (1600+2*1440+1200+850+600) + 8000 = 19.3 kVA = 80.6A @ 240V.

Cheers, Wayne
