Load center or panelboard?

Need advice. Im working on a commercial building with 2-200 amp, 208/120, 3 phase load centers. I want to tap one for a 100 amp sub-panel. Can it also be a loadcenter or does it have to be a panelboard? (code?) Thanks!

To the NEC all are panelboards, 'Loadcenter' is just a marketing term.

So yes you can use a loadcenter but make sure it will have a AIC rating that exceeds the available short circuit current.
