230.70(A)(2) states that service disconnecting means shall not be located in a bathroom. If the panelboard is a load side panel, does this change the restriction. Can the panelboard now be located in a restroom if the disconnecting means is properly located at the MDP.

Charlie B - After I posted, I did a search (should have done that first) and it seems that the majority say it is allowable in other than residential dwelling units or hotel and motel guest suites. The building that I have will be a vocational school and not a dwelling. The sub-panels are existing but they wish to place an additional restroom in the area. Still working out final details, but they questioned what I would accept as the inspector. Does that change your answer?
