I have a long 120 VAC 20A run that needs 10AWG for Voltage Drop.
It's for a sensitive electronics cabinet.
How do I drop it down on a 5-20 receptacle., which only takes a 12 AWG
Or should i just take a chance with a 12 AWG conductor.?
Has anyone had this issue?

Plenty of options for splicing back down to #12 AWG. Simple as a wire nut and can get fancy as mounting din rail and terminal blocks.

Now that I look. I’m assuming you’re not an electrician. Thread will be closed shortly I’m sure.
