Lost & Found....

1 of my biggest pet peeves is losing my own tools.
Attics full of insulation seem to be particularily problematic.
Course I've found a fair # of other people's tools in attics too...

I have no idea how many screwdrivers I have gone through in my career, I carry them in my back pocket and dont always feel or hear them fall out, I have also found tools laying on top of equipment when I go back for another service call, sometimes they have been laying there for over a year.

I can relate, I remember one in particular about 20 years ago, I lost a new 25' tape in blown-in insulation one day after I bought it.

I also have a pair of 9" side cutters somewhere in my own attic

I hear ya!

I'm on my third $45.00 flashlight in the last couple of months. I very rarely loose stuff and just figures it is something pricey.

I left an $18,000.00 monitor on a site and forgot where (I did not follow procedure and write it down). I was dying, 5 months later a customer calls me and asked when he can get his report. WHEWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Glad to know I'm not alone in this. The reason most of my hand tools look so new is because they are. I know a retired electrician that still has most of his hand tools from his apprentice days some 40 years ago.
