I have an overhead light, with two 3-wire switches.
I was getting a very low voltage on the wires and the light was not going on. I disconnected the light and removed the two switches.
At the first switch the black was 120 volts and the red was 0 and the white 0. All good.
I went to the second, and the black had zero volts, but the red and white both measured the lowest reading of 6 +/- on my voltage probe.
Any thoughts? Guidance?
