New to this forum. I am currently working on a project with Data/Voice cabling running outside a building to a small out-building. Planning on putting in Primary Protector blocks at both ends of the run, and installing Solid State modules. This arrangement is strictly meant as Lightning Surge Protection, as it will not be installed with any electrical circuits. I am lost as to what rated VDC Modules I should use. They come anywhere from 30vdc up to 350vdc.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

No electrical circuits - fiber optics? Solid state modules - optoisolators?

I don't have a clue what you're talking about. I'd like to know, though. Would you please explain it a bit more?
