Do they make low voltage cable that can be run "free-air" above the classified area of a major repair garage? I have fire alarm, security, and data subs that need to get their cabling routed through this existing area at 30' AFF. to feed an expansion, and to put it all in conduit would be very expensive.
Maybe this 2nd part is dumb, but code 511.7 lists tray cable as being acceptable...is tray cable required to be in cable tray?
