Is their a code that states if a luminaire can be used as a pull box? Can someone help me out with this? Thanks in advance

Not quite sure where your going with this. I've pulled / broken different lighting circuits inside a fluorescent fixture. If you intend on using the fixture for carrying power circuits? I think that would be a poor application. If the fixture needed to be replaced, you would have to break all of the conductors.
