I've got a situation where there's a pole-mounted CCTV camera fed via 4-pair 22-ga aerial drop wire (Superior Essex type ADW; same stuff telco uses from pole to house) The existing camera is relatively low draw (10W @ 24VAC) therefore it was powered over the unused wires in the cable.
It's being replaced with a more substantial camera equipped with environmental controls (heater and blower) and as a result I feel that the existing power wires are undersized. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with any form of 2-conductor aerial wire, preferably 18-ga or larger. The only stuff I've ever flown is Triplex. All I could think of that was suitable outdoors is LV lighting wire, which would have to be supported (the longest span is about 90 feet)
