Anyone taken the MA journeyman's test recently. I have to take it next friday in West Springfield. I was wondering what the applied portion of the exam all about.

It has been quite a while since I took the test but if you mean "practical" when you refer to "applied", it is a series of pictures in which you have to identify the parts by name.
For example, there may be a picture of an LL and you will have to correctly identify it.

You will NOT pass this test without the Mass Electrical Code Amendments. Do you have them? Not many people are passing this test on the first try. Also you can NOT use the Handbook version of the code!
