Does NFPA have a rule against mailing 3 proposals in one envelope.
I know this is silly, but I don't want to blow this over something stupid.
Thanks,
Rich

No, NFPA is actually pretty tolerant about everything except the closing time. Even the format is not too rigorous as long as the basic elements we have indicated in the “!!! Read This Before Creating An OP To This Forum !!!” are included:

1.) NEC Section/Paragraph:
2.) Proposal/Comment: [Include old text, if applicable, and then proposed new or revised wording]
3.) Substantiation: [State the problem that will be resolved by your recommendation. (Why is it a problem? How will your proposal solve it?) Be as specific as possible.]
4.) Who you are and if you represent some organization

NOTE TO ALL: I intend to close this thread within 24 hrs; possibly sooner if any rabbits show up.

Why not send three individual e-mails with the electronic form in MS Word? If it is attached to an e-mail, no signature is required if you make a statement like, "I am proposing a change to 300.4(A)(1) as shown in the attached proposal form." You will then get a response like, "Received and logged" from the NFPA. That way, you will know that it got there.
