Maintenance Mode Arc Flash Label location

Hi Everyone,

My team has been having discussions on where to place the arc flash labels for maintenance mode on the equipment.
We have individual blue arc flash labels for the maintenance mode. So, for example, we have an MCC that is fed from a substation. Both the MCC Main breaker and substation feeder breaker have maintenance mode switches (ERMS switches in our case).
I am trying to determine the proper location to place these blue ERMS labels. The options we are discussing are at the equipment that is being protected or at the ERMS switch itself. What do you think is the proper or best way to apply the labels, and is there any code or standard for this?

Thanks

Put the labels in the location that complies with your company Electrical Safe Work Practices program (ESWP).
Your workers need to be qualified to your ESWP.

Placing the label at the switch, may cause confusion that the incident energy level has been lowered at that point.
Putting them at the downstream protected equipment may cause confusion that they are always applicable.

IMHO, put them at the affected equipment next to a remote Blue light which indicates the ERMS switch is active.
