Making a knockout in a meter socket for the service mast

Good Mornin,
Im installing a service for with a dual meter socket with lever bypass. the things pretty wide and id like to get my service mast off to one end of the enclosure but it only has the hub attachments in the moddle of the enclosure. Can i knockout my own hole out of the top of it, as long as i use a gasket to make it water tight?

It would have to be listed for such, POCO would have to agree, and bonding the riser would be an issue.

My mast will be pvc so im not worried about bonding

Then I would say it it is a 110.3(B), 312.2 and POCO issue AFAIK.

Use a meyers hub. not a gasket.

Seems to me there was EC&M article about hubs not being listed for PVC, I believe Mark Ode wrote it.

Install an LB, short piece of conduit, then 90 up. Or go for the back to back 90's... if feeling adventurous...
