If it were me, and my company, I would do whatever I could to take care of their needs. I do this for my customers quite routinley, if they call that a heater in their hog barn is not working, we go and fix it. If the heater is junk, and a new heater is in line, I sell them a new one and install it. I have worked for ECs in the past that would say, well, that is not electrical, we wont do that. Then sit and complain that they dont have work.
I primarily work in the Ag side of things, and would say that 40% of the work we do is not neccisarily electric. I will run a copper gas line for the heater for a grain bin, install and repair crop dryer fans, install stirrators, whatever the customer has that needs done and I have the tools/equipment/ability to do. For farmers, we are a "one stop shop" of sorts. We stay busy this way. It gripes me to no end to here ec's say, well, we cant/wont do that, call someone else. IF YOU CAN DO IT>>>>>DO IT!!!!
